If you’re in the Bay Area and get the chance take a day trip to the Fort Ross/Salt Point area, there is a lot of great rockfishing around there, or anywhere north of Jenner. Also I recommend checking out the fish legal app so you don’t accidentally fish a Marine Protected Area.

The problem with tungsten, hopefully the questioner sees this, is that it is even worse for the environment, supposedly. I'm not well-versed in this subject. In Spain, they use chunks of concrete or rocks instead of lead. Using lead in fishing is inescapable in certain types of fishing. If you want to avoid lead, avoid those styles. I use lead. There is this one Irish guy who travels to Norway for halibut. He has this rig that makes it really easy for the lead to fall off while fighting the fish. That's distasteful in my opinion. Although, we are talking about the ocean, so I shouldn't care.

What is your favorite color of Azalea?
Have you seen any wildflowers of note this Spring so far?
I personally love a deep dark purple Azalea but I haven't found one in bloom so far. This is Cinnabar and it caught my eye from 20 feet away.

A few good teachers taking us out camping brought me from a stoner living a silly existence to a half decent person.
Doing stuff like that is one of the best ways to ensure the next generation is a good one imo.

I've tried asking on 'dog' forums but I get nothing but a bunch of hysterical fucking pearl clutching faggots who start throwing accusations and character defamation around because I may not be of the opinion that dogs are actually human babies.

I need a dog that can tolerate at the minimum sleeping overnight on its own, in a dedicated plush outhouse of its own, but still with some good guarding instincts and physical capabilities.

All the personal protection breeds are faggots who will start whining and crying and pissing themselves if they're physically separated from their owners and forced into the indignity of not sleeping in your house according to the literature.

Which rules out the otherwise ideal breeds ie Dobermanns, GSD. Any Anons had experience with dogs that are still down to ride like a Dobe/GSD but don't suffer separation anxieties?

Thanks outists.

Some plants that look like that are poisonous in the sense that touching them and getting their sap on your skin will then cause you to break out into painful blisters when that skin is exposed to sunlight.
Giant hogweed is the worst of these and the blisters can take months to heal and leave pigmented scars. Others, like cow parsnip, are still toxic, but not nearly as bad.

Grooming standard differs unit to unit, atleast in my countrys military. Some wear them inside the boot, some put them slightly on top of the boot so that it covers the knot in the shoe lace. We stuffed the knot inside the boot and wore them like that.
Rule of thumb is neither the sock or the knot should be visible.

that picture was taken right when I put them in. Yesterday there was probably 10X the amount of bees on the front by the afternoon. You are probably right that it has alot to do with their life cycle and most aren't old enough to be foraging a ton, but I also think it may have been a bit of a heat issue. I may need to start putting up an umbrella to stave off the afternoon heat for them. What's the best way to treat them for mites and beetles btw?

That isn't the whole point of a bivy at all you mouthbreathing moron. It's to augment a sleeping bag in extreme cold weather. Ultralighters decided to start using them instead of tents because it works pretty good but wasn't originally what they were for.

Also, fuckfaced retard, even a milspec bivy is lighter than most 1 person tents.
>>

NTA
>It's to augment a sleeping bag in extreme cold weather.
Bivys are designed to keep you dry.
>Ultralighters decided to start using them instead of tents because it works pretty good but wasn't originally what they were for.
No they don’t lol.

>Also, fuckfaced retard, even a milspec bivy is lighter than most 1 person tents.
I don’t doubt it but post some examples.
>>
>>2727746
>I wouldn’t consider a bivy to be an option.
Some of the US National Parks have “bivy only” hike in campsites requiring a specific permit and a “bag check” (similar to backcountry permits and bag checks…do you have food, water, bear spray, maps etc so that rescue is less likely to be needed).
If you show up to bag check with a 1 man tent then your permit doesn’t issue, you can’t travel and you forfeit you campsite fee.

> 2. Just a bivy…Really only used by larpers and serious mountaineers
First bivy I ever purchased was one of those, I legitimately thought it would be a tent option, tried sleeping in it once and realized how stupid I was…I did keep it though and I always throw it into my winter day hike or backcountry snowboarding packs as an emergency shelter, just in case, that’s probably it’s most legitimate use
>>
>>2727941
>Bivys are designed to keep you dry
Wrong.

The military was doing it before the retarded climbers figured out they could use it on cliff sides.

Milspec is around 2 lbs if not slightly lighter and most 1person tents are 2.5 to 3.

maybe im autistic or something but i think it would be really cool to try hunt them only using primitive tools/weapons (nothing more advanced than a bow, and thats already pushing it).

See my experience with rabbits is that they don't require any stalking or waiting. They are literally bozos of the animal world. You just walk through the woods, look for open grassy spots, catch a glimpse of their tails and then take your shot. They will alert on you and just sit there and look at you half the time. You'll probably be less than 30 yards from them alot of the time.
>>
>>2727867
That's exactly what an invasive species would say.

Fruit thinning allows your plant to allocate its resources more efficiently. Each leaf is a source, and each fruit is a sink. If you have too many sinks, the sources will not be able to provide.
