Yeah, the way AO3 and some other sites do it is better and more transparent: they announce their maintenance costs, start a fundraiser, close it once they reach their goal. A monthly subscription is a really weird choice for a site that just hosts things, and it's not clear how close they are to covering their server costs or what's going to happen if their income outweighs their expenses.

Shonengahosha is the only publisher where I noticed a difference in resolution for the volume releases, normally only magazines differ.
Young Comic and Young King Ours GH releases get x1920 while the rest of the YK family has x1200.
Most other publishers have moved onto higher resolutions for volume releases as well. I think Hakusensha is the only other x1200 holdout among the bigger publishers.

That's really not really covered by the buyfag thread or Yurinavi.
Bookwalker and Comic FUZ are probably the most popular here but there's others like Comic Days or Bookpass or even Komiflo that could be relevant to some.

Yurinavi only covers web manga and volume releases, not series that are only published in magazines (aside from Yurihime). Even for the series that have a delayed web release after the magazine it isn't really helpful.
